Dear Pratap,
Thank you for getting in touch!
Building one’s brand – whether through ambient media or otherwise – is not something that any good practitioner will be able to do “just like that”, i.e. over email or blog comments. It requires further insight into your company, your unique situation (i.e. your competitors, your own market position, your company culture, etc.), and more. You would not be served very well if I just went ahead to give you a few ideas without considering your company’s ability to execute them or their impact in your local scenario.
Further, for those of us in this line, coming up with “creative and innovative ideas” is considered “work” – hence, before we even start, we would normally appreciate having a contract or business arrangement first. Without having this in place first, it would be unwise for both of us to proceed.
May I suggest that you consider a locally-based agency where you are to help serve you better? This way, you wouldn’t have to be concerned with financial costs related to doing business internationally, which could include travel expenses, international call rates, exchange rates and more. The added benefits of a good local agency (or at least one with a local office) would be that they are more familiar with the unique needs (and constraints) of your local situation and can make better-informed recommendations more quickly. Not only that, you can actually meet regularly enough in a face-to-face setting (regardless of how technology has advanced, sometimes, it’s just great to be able to meet face-to-face)!
If you still feel that you would like to work with me on this matter, please let me know and I will see how we can set up an arrangement for me to support you.
By the way – one quick advice on your website – please find a way to reduce the flash element’s loading time. I’m sure it’s very nice, but it took so long to load, I didn’t even bother waiting for it and left the page. Perhaps you could reduce its size (dimensions AND file size) or find another way altogether.
Best wishes to you and your projects!
Regards,
Leigh Wong
Hi Leigh,
I came across another business card infographic on your site and wanted to share ours.
We developed our business card infographic/visual guide (http://www.businesscards.com/blog/?p=470) keeping in mind the common disconnects in branding projects between less technical small business owners and the graphic designers that they hire. The guide is meant to walk business owners through the points in the creative process where they are likely to struggle the most.
I’d greatly appreciate it if you would take a moment to check it out and consider sharing it with your readers in whatever way that you see fit. Thank you!
Hi Chris.
Sorry it took me a while to get to your comment. Have been quite busy – thanks for the link to your awesome infographic! It’s really cool and exceedingly helpful.
Will post it up to share on this blog.
Thanks again!
Thanks for your encouragement Lay See!
